I've caught up with time and this blog is finally up-to-date !
Took the picture this morning, with the first truss in place. This is only a dummy one, made of softwood, it will be the template for the carpenter to cut the final oak truss with confidence...
Notice the big fat beams on top of the walls (this beam is the wall plate), and on which the roof is going to be resting
Those beams prob weighted in at 100kg, so it was quite a job hoisting them up there...
You can also see where the window will be on the gable wall
